It all started when…
One labor day weekend, a group of friends were enjoying a potluck and the conversation turned to cohousing. We realized that several of us had long held the dream to live in a more connected way. We were tired of living so isolated and having every social interaction take so much energy to schedule and plan ahead. We were tired of having the nuclear family be stretched so thin.
We longed for the day when we would be able to walk next door to socialize, have neighbors that enjoyed getting to know each other more deeply than the passing hello, and more fully support and rely on each other.
We also dreamed that there was a better way to live more sustainably on the planet and use less energy and resources.
